Captured souls of David Kraus

David Kraus began his career as a photo journalist for the daily newspaper Metropolitan. He gradually gravitated towards making portrait photographs for interviews and profiles. After Metropolitan had merged with Telegraf, he left for the magazine REFLEX - between 1992 and 2008 he created several hundred cover shots. While working for Reflex, he photographed Czech as well as international musicians, encompassing both popular as well as classical genres. His photographs on the covers of disc records won numerous accolades.

David Kraus has had several exhibitions of his work, including a notable exhibition of the works of the foremost Czech photographers arranged in the Prague Castle. David Kraus currently engages in staged and commercial portrait photography as a freelance photographer.

The exhibition takes place throughout August 2010.
